Once you sign up for the beach trips you are obligated to pay for that seat. We know emergencies arise. If we have a waitlist and are notified 4 days prior to the trip, we will credit your money for a future trip. No other refunds or credits will be given. Remember we must pay for the bus.

Leaving from Walmart on CR466 west of Buena Vista
Bus assignments are posted under Beach Trips/On The Bus
Itinerary
7:30 am - Reef Rover Committee Members Arrive
7:45 am - Busses Arrive
7:45 - 8:00 am - load busses
8:00 am - Bus Driver remarks and departure
9:00 am - Comfort Stop
10:45 am - Arrive at Honeymoon Island
1:30 pm - Bus leaves for shopping and dining in Dunedin
3:00 pm - Bus arrives at HI. All remaining participants board for Dunedin
5:15 pm - Bus leaves from Dunedin for the ride home
All times are approximate and depend on traffic and road conditions.
Honeymoon Island State Park
One of Florida's best loved state parks, Honeymoon Island has more than four miles of beach to explore along with a three mile trail through one of the last remaining virgin slash pine forests.

Chair Rental - 2 lounge chairs and umbrella $35.00, Umbrella only $21, Single lounge chair $15, Credit Card Only.

Bath House 1 and 3 are fully functional as verified by the Park Service. Bath House #2 is not in service.
Visit Dunedin
Known for it's small town atmosphere and lively downtown, Dunedin was voted "The Best Little Walking Town in America." Spend time in the Historic Downtown shopping and dining. Stroll through waterfront parks or enjoy the hopping Craft Brewing scene.
Dunedin boasts a rich Scottish heritage, so don't be surprised to hear bagpipes or spot the locals wearing a kilt. It is also the Spring Training Home of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Entertainment by Dawn DiNome
An email with registration form will be sent out to all 2025 members. You will have until November 22nd to return your form. New Members can register after November 22nd. Room capacity is 110. Since our seats are limited members only at this time. If there are seats available afterwards you will be able to register your significant other.
Members $25
Non Members $35
A 50/50 drawing will be held. Tickets are $5 each and 5 for $20. Proceeds will go to out local chapter of the American Cancer Society. Our club will match what we bring in.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 27TH
TARPON SPRINGS
This will be a shortened day leaving at 9:00 am and returning no later than 5:30. Our destination will be the Greek Village on Dodecanese Avenue. You will have several hours to shop and dine at numerous restaurants with authentic Greek cuisine. OPA! While there you can sign up for a dolphin cruise or sponge dive cruise.
Watch your email for the registration form in December.

Cindi and Jeff Bowen will be your Co-Presidents starting January 1, 2026.
Cindi and Jeff Bowen moved to the Villages 2 1/2 years ago. They live in the village of Rio Ponderosa. Cindi is a second generation Villager! Though they have been married for 13 years, they have known each other since they were in middle school. They make a great team by combining their strengths. Jeff is very good with organization. Cindi‘s strengths are event planning and creativity. Being from Virginia, they both spent many vacations at Virginia Beach. That is actually where they spent their honeymoon. Their love for the beach is what led them to Reef Rovers! Visiting different beaches each month is a day trip and adventure all in one! They are looking forward to getting more involved with the Reef Rovers and helping out in any way they can.
